These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Homosassa Springs Movers’ services. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms. We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review them periodically.

By hiring our services, you agree to allow us to transport your goods from the agreed pick-up location to the specified destination.
3. Booking and Payment
To book moving services, customers must provide the necessary details including dates, locations, and the size of the move. A non-refundable deposit may be required to confirm your booking. The balance of the payment will be due upon completion of the services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments for services can be made via various methods, including credit cards, debit cards, or other payment methods as offered by Homosassa Springs Movers. We reserve the right to charge interest on any overdue payments.
4. Customer Responsibilities
As the customer, it is your responsibility to:
- Ensure that all items are packed securely and properly for transport. Homosassa Springs Movers will not be liable for any damages to improperly packed or unsecured items.
- Ensure that access points at both the pick-up and delivery locations are clear and free from obstruction, including doorways, stairways, and parking areas.
- Remove any hazardous materials from items that are being moved (e.g., chemicals, flammable materials).
- Provide accurate details regarding the number of items to be moved, including furniture, appliances, and fragile items.
- Ensure that pets, valuables, and personal items are handled or packed by the customer prior to the moving process.
5. Packing Services
If you choose our packing services, our team will carefully pack your items using high-quality materials. However, please note that some items, such as fragile or irreplaceable objects, require special attention, and we strongly recommend purchasing insurance for these items. Homosassa Springs Movers is not responsible for any damage to these items unless they have been packed by our team.
6. Insurance and Liability
While we take utmost care with all items we handle, moving involves inherent risks, including damage or loss. As a result, we highly recommend purchasing moving insurance to cover any potential loss or damage during the move. Homosassa Springs Movers provides basic liability coverage for goods, but additional insurance options are available for your peace of mind.
Any claims for damage or loss must be reported within 24 hours of the delivery. If you have not purchased additional insurance, Homosassa Springs Movers’ liability for any damage or loss is limited to a fixed amount, as specified in your moving contract.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled moving date will result in a cancellation fee. If you reschedule, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your new date, but this is subject to availability.
If we need to cancel your move due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you immediately and offer a full refund or reschedule the move at your convenience. Homosassa Springs Movers is not liable for any expenses incurred by the customer due to such cancellations.
8. Pricing and Additional Fees
Our prices are based on factors such as the distance of the move, the size of the items being moved, the time required, and any additional services such as packing, storage, or special handling. Any changes in the scope of the move may result in additional charges, which will be communicated to you before they are incurred.
Additional fees may apply for the following circumstances:
- Moving items up or down stairs (if an elevator is unavailable)
- Excessive weight or large items
- Storage fees, if applicable
- Last-minute changes in moving dates or locations
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, weather events, strikes, labor disputes, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your move and provide updates on any delays.
10. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is very important to us. Homosassa Springs Movers collects personal data for the purpose of providing moving services, processing payments, and improving customer experience. We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your data as outlined in our privacy policy.
11. Disputes and Governing Law
Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought in the courts located in Citrus County, Florida. By using our services, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of these courts.
12. Modifications to Terms
Homosassa Springs Movers reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. We encourage you to review these terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of those changes.
